Guangzhou: Pakistan Women’s Cricket team is all set to take on Bangladeshi women in the semi final of Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup to be played here today. The knockout encounter will start at 10:30 am PST (Pakistan Standard Time) but it’s unfortunate that the match will not be telecast by any TV channel. The key player to watch in today’s game is Nida Dar who is looking in sublime touch and the team management expects her to shine in the all important match of the mega event.
Meanwhile, India had to face Sri Lanka in the first encounter to qualify for the final but the match got abandoned without a ball bowled due to heavy rain here in Guangzhou from yesterday evening which suggests that match between Pakistan and Bangladesh will also face some delay.
Earlier, Pakistan outclassed Hong Kong by 142 runs while they were beaten by arch rivals India by eight wickets in the final match of the league.
Update: Pakistan Women won by 6 wickets (with 14 balls remaining) and qualify for the Final against India.
