Islamabad: Under the banner of change, the long march procession headed by the Minhaj ul Quran Chief Dr. Tahir ul Qadri, involving the participation of billions of people has finally reached the outskirts of the capital city, Islamabad. The long march has proved to be successful , with no disturbances reported so far.
Thousands of people from Karachi, interior Punjab, Kashmir, Hazara division are among the large participants. Women and female have shown great support for the party by turning up at the procession. While talking to the media men, the females said that they have came up here in the intense cold, all bare walk covering the distance to show that how frustrated they are because of the present government. One of the lady said that the seeds sowed produces fruits that are used by the next generation. Through this march pass, we want to secure the lives and future our next generation.
A young student said that the march is aimed to overthrow the present government which has only contributed towards the miseries of the masses. Resident of Kashmir, the school going girl said that the interior minister had spoke much of the security arrangements but no preparations can be seen. She complained of the problems faced by the people at the gathering. She believed that the uneducated leaders should be replaced with educated, experienced leaders who hold knowledge about the Islamic constitution and know well to implement them in the country, ensuring peace and prosperous future of the country.
Long march headed by Dr. Tahir ul Qadri is aimed at making the government to accept the demands. Despite several hurdles and amid threats, the Minhaj ul Quran Chief didn’t give up from this procession, stating that for him the betterment and revolution matters most. The long march began from Lahore at Zuhr prayers on Sunday.
