Admissions for the 2015 session are now open at the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants. This institute is offering courses to become a professional accountant. Candidates can get the admission forms from the main office and approved colleges. Students awaiting their results can also apply. Candidates must have passed their intermediate, A, levels, CAT or any other equivalent examination to apply at PIPFA. The registration fee is Rs 3000.
There are three levels of courses, foundation, intermediate and final level leading to APFA and FPFA. The completion of these levels will lead to associate public finance accountant (APFA) and then to Fellow public finance accountant (FPFA). FPFA qualified will get an opportunity as a chief financial advisor and director of finance. APFA qualified will get an opportunity to work as company secretary and a teacher at the professional accounting bodies.
