ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has ended its sit-in in Islamabad whereas Capital Development Authority (CDA) staff has started to clean the place. As soon as the announcement was made to end the sit-in, people who came across the country to join the sit-in started to depart for the home city. CD has said that it will take at least a month to completely clean the Shahrah-e-Dastoor.
The head of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr Tahirul Qadri last night announced to end the sit-in in Islamabad after which the participants of the sit-in started to leave the city (Islamabad) and going to their home cities. Soon after the members of PAT started to leave sit-in, CDA staff activated and reached at Shahrah-e-Dastoor in order to neat and clean.
CDA staff told that 20 persons had been sent to every sector to cleanliness. The staff added that Shahrah-e-Dastoor was not cleaned for more than a month and it could take half and a month to neat and clean the place.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have staged sit-ins for many days and both the parties demanded of the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. PTI sit-in is still continued in Islamabad.
