Karachi: The National Selection Committee will select the 15 men squad for the One Day International Series against Australia in a meeting to be held on August 8, local newspaper reported on Friday.
According to the report, the Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Board Iqbal Qasim told the media that Coach Dav Whatmore will return to Pakistan on 6th August followed with a meeting of selectors on 7th August in Lahore.
The team would be given a final shape in a meeting between the Selectors, the Captain Pakistan Cricket Team Misbah-ul-Haq and Coach Dav Whatmore on 8th August. The selected team list would then be sent to Chairman PCB Zaka Ashraf for the final approval.
It is expected that discarded opener Yasir Hameed, middle-order batsman Fawad Alam and Shoaib Malik might get a re-call into the one-day squad.
