ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has invited the Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani to visit Pakistan. According to the spokesman of Syed Ali Geelani, Pakistani High Commissioner Abdul Basit delivered the written message of Nawaz Sharif on the occasion of dinner in New Delhi.
According to the spokesman, I the letter from Nawaz Sharif, he has termed Kashmir issue as incomplete agenda of Pakistan’s establishment. Nawaz Sharif has emphasized that good relationships between Islamabad and New Delhi is nothing but self-deception unless Kashmir issue is resolved.
The spokesman further told that Nawaz Sharif in the letter said that Pakistan had informed to India that there would be no progress in bilateral relations without solving Kashmir issue. The spokesman added that the prime Minister of Pakistan said, “We are willing to develop good ties with all the neighborhood countries including India but the unrealistic approach f India is the biggest obstacle in it”.
The spokesman did not mention any dates of visit and said that Syed Ali Geelani had accepted the invitation forthwith.
