Peshawar: To block NATO supply which is going to neighboring country Afghanistan is illegal, said Peshawar High Court (PHC) Judge. The NATO supply is blocked since three months by workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. This blockage of NATO supply is against article 18 of Pakistani Constitution, claimed the judges. High Court has also ordered the government to protect basic human and freedom of movement rights.
It is now almost three month that NATO supply has been blocked that passes from Hayatabad Toll Plaza, Peshawar by workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Now after three months Peshawar High Court has taken notice of this case and has declared it as illegal actions from the side of PTI.
This case was registered by Lal Muhammad in PHC which stated that the blockage of NATO supply was creating many problems. On this PHC’s bench which include Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Manzoor Hussain said that this blockage should immediately be stopped. It is against article 18 of 1973 Constitution of Pakistan.

The Judges further ordered that government should protect basic human rights and freedom of movement acts. They also said that violation of Constitution will not be tolerated.
