Pakistani cinemas will be showing ‘Muppets Most Wanted’ on 4th April on its release in Pakistan. The movie is a production of Walt Disney and is a musical comedy adventure film. The movie is a sequel to the 2011s movie ‘The Muppets’. The movie is a direction of James Bobin and has been written by Bobin and Nicholas Stoller. The movie stars Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais and Ty Burrell. Most of the team from the Muppets returned for this sequel ‘Muppets Most wanted’.
The story starts from where they had left in the first movie. The Muppets are confused about what to do next. Dominic Badguy suggests that they go on a tour with him as the tour manager. Meanwhile Constantine returns as the number one criminal and a complete dead ringer to Kermit, who is found to be coordinating with BadGuy. Hence the Muppets find themselves trapped in an international crime adventure on their tour to Europe.
The movie has been given good reviews by the critics and has scored well in the American Box office. The critics although deemed it as falling short of the standard of ‘The Muppets’ but still it was able to provide a good combination of witty dialogues, catchy songs and guest appearances to satisfy audiences of all ages. It is a good sight to see Pakistani cinemas focusing on such movies as well that may not bring enough revenue, but will provide an option for children as well.
