Karachi: The head of the banned Peoples Aman Committee Sardar Uzair Jan Baloch has allegedly held Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) responsible for Baldia tragedy saying that Muttahida is behind the deadly incident that claimed more than 250 precious lives, local newspaper reported on Friday.
The leader of the proscribed PAC, Uzair Jan Baloch said the chemical used in Baldia garments factory tragedy was the same used in Boltan Market tragedy.
He demanded an independent inquiry in this matter and said the chemical was so dangerous that it do not allow anyone to breathe for over a minute. “Everything will be exposed once impartial investigations are done,” he asserted.
The absconder political leader voiced concerns over the sudden spread of fire in the factory saying the burning of 289 people is beyond imagination.
Meanwhile, Sindh Minister for Industries and Commerce, Abdul Rauf Siddiqui, has resigned from his post over the deadly Baldia factory incident which took more than 250 precious lives.
