Karachi: Critical Pakistani columnist Hassan Nisar who is known for his liberal thoughts and judgments who reflects hatred towards Islamism and Islamists and as few stating him as ‘senior analyst’ actually plagiarizes his columns and writings as it became an evident fact when he copied his column ‘Khud Apni Talash Main’ published on October 13, 2012 in Daily Dunya from Rakesh Krishnan Simha’s blog post.
Rakesh Krishnan Simha is a New Zealand-based Indian writer and a columnist for Russia & India Report who wrote an article entitled ‘Why Muslims and Chinese hate Pakistan’ on July 3, 2012 on the basis of a survey conducted by Pew Research Center’s Global Attitudes Project on Pakistani public opinion about US, titled as Pakistani Public Opinion Ever More Critical of U.S. The survey was published on June 27, 2012.
In his 13 October’s column, Hassan Nisar referred to Pew Research Center’s survey about Pakistan and its global image. He tried to give the impression that he, in his column, is mentioning the results of that survey, but in reality whatever he wrote was not the part of Pew Research Center’s survey.
Hassan Nisar, in fact, just translated Simha’s blog post ‘Why Muslims and Chinese hate Pakistan’ to Urdu in full without giving the reference or proper citation which shows his authenticity and credibility.
Nisar just copied down the words in Urdu giving the readers impact of his commentary on the survey but that was not the case, Nisar actually jot down the opinion of Simha’s blog in his column.
