Ajmer: Pakistani Microbiologist scientist Muhammad Khalil Chishti has been released from the Ajmer central jail on Wednesday (11th April, 2012) where he had been detained for about more then two decades and faced the Murder Charges.
Dr. Chishti who is 80 years old spent his 21 years in Jail and was granted bail by the Supreme Court of India on Monday on a special request made by Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari on his India visit.
He said that he now wishes to reach home as soon as possible. He also wishes to see his family member and he was given a warm welcome by his brother and other family relatives when he came out from the Jail. He thanked President Zardari as well for making an effort for his bail.
