India alleges Dawood Ibrahim to be behind 1993 Mumbai serial bomb attacks which killed more than 257 people in the financial hub. Before these allegations Dawood Ibrahim was a local mafia boss who was thought to be involved in extortion and property seizure.
Indian government blames Pakistan and claims that he is hiding in the metropolitan city of Karachi and is doing business from the extortion money of Mumbai.
