Few days ago Punjab Food Authority (PFA) took samples of cooking oil and ghee of different brands from different places in Lahore. The purpose was to differentiate between the unhealthy and unhygienic cooking oil from those which are following heath standards.
When the laboratory tests came then the following brands were found unhealthy because of low saponification and absence of Vitamin A:
- Shan Cooking Oil & Banaspati
- Smart Canola Cooking Oil
- Shah Taj Cooking Oil
- Ghani Cooking Oil
- Soya Supreme Cooking Oil
- Kashmir Canola Oil
- Cuckoo Banaspati
So #Punjab #Food Authority has listed most of the top cooking oil brands unhealthy for consumption. share with your Favorite Samosa Sellers pic.twitter.com/cIZD7luwVG
