Many people think that people suffering from diabetes cannot & should not eat Mangoes because they are sweet and contain glucose which may increase their diabetes but truth is far beyond it.
In reality Mango is among the list of fruits that The American Diabetes Association recommends for Diabetic patient.
Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) conducted a study and found that people who regularly eat mangoes have lower sugar level. They claimed that eating mangoes will not only control sugar level but will help in decreasing it.
But Expert Dietitian Lokendra Tomar rejects this research and says that people with diabetes should avoid mangoes because they are rich in carbohydrates which increase glucose level.
Nutritionist Dr. Anju Sood believes that people with very high sugar level should completely avoid mangoes, but others can have mangoes but not regularly.
