Karachi: On 2nd February 2016, One PIA worker loses his life while another five were being medically treated for shot injuries as security forces allegedly shot fire on the complaining workers of the national airlines at the Karachi airport.
The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of PIA’s has headed to the front with their intended strike after the administration denied to maintaining PIA as a totally state-run business.
However the spokesman of Paramilitary forces claimed that Rangers did not open fire at protesting PIA workers at Jinnah International Airport.
The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) East Police has communicated with the media that inquiry is being underway in the firing episode at the Karachi airport which wounded five protesting PIA workers & one person dead.
