The Islamabad Zoo is located in Islamabad over an 82 acre land. This zoo was previously known as the Marghazar zoo and falls under the administration of the Capital Development Authority of Pakistan. The zoo was established in 1978 to provide a habitable space for the leopards, spotted deer and Indian Gazelle in the region. The zoo has provided a contact number, at which the visitors can lodge a complaint or give their suggestions related to the zoo management.
The visitors can give their input at 0519205644. The visitors can also meet the director of the zoo personally to give their suggestions. The visiting time is from 11AM till 12AM. The zoo has gained a bad reputation regarding its maintenance and care of animals in the past. Its management is in clear violation of the animal welfare rights. So suggestions will be welcomed by the authority.
