Karachi: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) allowed two new airlines to start their operation in Pakistan. Indus Airlines and Pearl Airlines are now allowed to start passenger flights from Pakistan. At this time, there are six airlines in Pakistan which have commercial license. They are PIA, Air Blue, Shaheen Air, Bhoja Air, Pearl Air and Indus Air.
PIA Management has showed serious issues on this decision and PIA Management said that after this permission, PIA’s Deficit would be increase therefore license of Indus Airlines should be stopped.
According to sources, Indus Air has got office in Jinnah International Airport but it’s started officially and Inauguration also not happened. Indus Airlines May start from March 2012 while there are some rumors in market that President Asif Ali Zardari’s Sister Faryal Talpur is owner of Indus Airlines.
