Karachi: A poor show by Pakistani batting line up sinks Pakistan in an all important five match ODI series against Sri Lanka, losing by a comprehensive margin of 3-1. The crowd puller Shahid Afridi scored no more than 28 runs in a total of five matches at a poor average of 9.33 and added only three wickets to his list while Mohammad Hafeez aka Professor kept a tally to 57 runs in the same number of matches at a disgraceful average of 11.40 and achieved six wickets.
Azhar Ali, was proved unexpectedly the most accomplished batsman in the series for Pakistan, scoring 217 runs with two half centuries.
