Internationally World Thalassemia Day is observed on 8th May, 2012under the UN chartered. Thalassemia is blood disease in which the small age children constantly get the drip for to meet the amount and requirement of Blood in the body.
This day is widely celebrated in Pakistan seminars are held on this day to make the doctors known about the latest re search in it and general view about the disease is also given to the parents and people from different walks of life.
Similarly a small documentary is often shown in the schools as well to spread the awareness about the disease. This disease is inherited by the children. Meanwhile, the precautions are given during the time of pregnancy.
