Peshawar: An unpleasant incident that took the life of renowned Pushto Singer Ghazala Javed along with her father yesterday night (18th June, 2011) in the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The culprits are yet to be ascertained by the police. Ghazala Javed (late) was a very familiar singer of KPK province but was also famous across the borders among the Pashtoon community. She had a mammoth influence over her Pashtoon audience inside and outside Pakistan.
Her career bloomed like a shining star the first time she appeared on Pakistan Television (PTV). Along with her malleable singing abilities she also entertained her followers and fans with a smooth dance during the shows. She sang more than 50 songs in her native language.
She had a beautiful voice and her image got improved when media gave appropriate coverage to her videos. Ghazala sang a duet ‘Zra Byalaley Pa Ta Dey’ with another popular singer of Pashto and Urdu language Rahim Shah.
The best part of her life was that she never got involved in scandals or any sort of controversies despite the fact that the Pashtoon culture is harshly against these kind of entertainment elements. She always tried to show herself as a mature women and never spread vulgarity.
