Wahab Riaz is a Pakistani cricketer who is serving the Pakistani team as a left-arm fast bowler and a right-hand batsman. He bowls at a speed of around 90 miles per hour and has bowled to maximum 94 miles per hour. He has completed his education from Aitchison College, Lahore. He made his ODI debut in a tri-series tournament in Bangladesh. His first match was against Bangladesh, in which he finished with 3 wickets for 22 runs in 7 overs.
Wahab’s test debut was against England in the third test of the 2010 series. He took 5 wickets for 63 runs in the first innings and made 27 runs in the first innings of the match. His next match was against South Africa in October 2010 in a test series and managed to take two crucial wickets. After the World Cup, Pakistan toured the West Indies for two Tests, five ODIs, and a T20I. Wahab was included in the squad. He took two wickets in the T20I, which Pakistan lost and played in four out of the five ODIs, taking seven wickets at an average of 25.28 and finishing as Pakistan’s leading wicket-taker in the series.
