Popular instant messaging app, Whatsapp is used by millions of users on the daily basis and its voice calling services is also used by the majority, but now Whatsapp is going to launch another remarkable service for its users. Whatsapp is going to launch video calling feature for the first time for all its users. According to the reports, Whatsapp is working on this new feature of video calling in order to compete with all its competitors. Till now, it is not yet confirmed that when it will be launched but some pictures have been revealed regarding video calling feature.
A German blog has published screen shots of beta version of video calling, from iOS app of Whatsapp, after which we could guess that the feature will be launched within some weeks or months. It is expected that video calling feature of Whatsapp will work in both the mobile data and WiFi, same as it is available in Viber, Facebook Messenger and Skype. Reports also said that the feature may be launched with 2.12.16.2 version, but no confirmation has been revealed officially.
It is to be noted that Whatsapp is the most popular mobile messaging app until now, with having more than 900 million users.
