A new research has revealed that eating white vegetables like potatoes and cabbage can decrease the chances of stomach cancer.
[junkie-alert style=”green”] The research which was carried by Zhejiang University in China claimed that eating vegetables like onion, potatoes, cabbage and cauliflower decreases the chances of stomach cancer by almost 30%. [/junkie-alert]
The researcher claimed that for each 100gm of these vegetables to risk of cancer is reduced by 5%, it also claimed that vitamin C can reduce risk of cancer by 8% by just consuming 50mg.
Stomach Cancer is among the five most common cancer which affects around 1 million people each year, from which hundred of thousand die each year especially because of lack of health facilities. But in developed countries like USA and UK 20,000-40,000 die each year in each country from stomach cancer.
So if this research is studied in detail maybe they will be able to find the reason behind reduction of cancer saving thousands of life around the world.
