Recently the complainants celebrated the 99th anniversary of the property case outside Supreme Court. The case was filed during British era in 1918 when owner of 700 acres land in Bahawalpur died triggering the inheritance dispute.

But the longest running case in the world is from India, it is a case which has been through multiple courts yet no decision has been taken. The Case from India was filed in 1878 after a dispute about 2 acres of land.
The dispute was between shia & sunni muslims, both claiming the right to the land for religious rituals. The case started during British Raj, it saw the rise of national movement for independence, it saw the independence of India and then multiple governments came but the case still remained an unsolved puzzle.
