Karachi: Tanzeem-e-Islami Akif Saeed proclaimed in a statement that the current assembly, established in a country that was created on the name of Islam, had no right to represent the public as it mocks the Islamic jurisdiction. He further added that Allah had imposed the compulsory condition of four witnesses in the cases of adultery and that marriage to a young girl is allowed according to certain conditions. He also added that in this view, many in the Sindh Assembly had lost their right to represent after their speeches against the Islamic jurisdiction.
Mr Saeed also criticized the statement issued by the former British Prime Minister Gordan Brown, about establishing zones in Pakistan that will restrict marriages to young girls. He added that those teaching us such ethics must first take a look at the social conditions of their country before judging others.
Akif Saeed also claimed that issues of racial and territorial discriminations were a result of severing our link with our religion .this issue was to be taken as the main reason behind the current situation in the Sindh Assembly, where Raja Dahir was crowned as a hero, while Mohammad Bin Qasim was perceived as a traitor.
Akif Saeed further expressed his outrage by saying that the provincial and racial discrimination was proving to be a poison for the Pakistani nation. He said that distancing ourselves from the religious values was taking us closer to this hopeless fate.
