Ultraviolet (UV) rays from sun are one of the major causes of skin cancer, it also damages our eye vision. The damage done by UV Rays is a slow process and may take years until we are affected by cancer, so it is very important to protect ourselves from UV rays and limit our exposure to sun light.
1) Clothing: To limit the exposure to sun light you should wear clothes which covers your skin from coming in direct contact with the UV rays. Wear long sleeves shirt, long pants, hat and eye glasses to protect your eyes.
2) Sunblock: Before going out in sunlight use sunblock so that a protective layer of the cream will protect your skin from UV rays. If you are planning for sun bath, a hiking or a just a casual walk on beach make sure you use sunscreen.
3) UV Peak Hours: Try to avoid unnecessary travelling and exposure during UV peak hours which are from 10 am to 4 pm.
