KABUL: The skirmish between Afghan forces and Taliban killed 30 people. According to Afghan officials, the militants have increased attacks although foreign troops have started to exit Afghanistan. According to official, Taliban militants have attacked on police and Army’s check posts in Kunduz province. It is pertinent to mention here that Kunduz province was considered to be the stronghold of Taliban before US arrival in Afghanistan.
The spokesperson of the governor of Kunduz says, Abdullah Wasi says that 8 Afghan security officials and over 2 dozens Taliban have been killed in skirmish. He claimed that Taliban were taking actions to occupy the capital of the province. He added that the risk of Taliban attacks increased a lot however, new changes in security increased courage of security officials.
The spokesperson of Taliban, Zabiullah Mujahid said in an email statement that Taliban militants targeted 7 check posts of Army and police in 2 districts of the province Kunduz. The spokesperson of Afghan president says that Ashraf Ghani went on India’s visit on Monday afternoon.
