Karachi: After the hearing session took place at Supreme Court yesterday of the Shahzeb murder case, the Chief Justice Mian Iftikhar Ahmed Chaudhary ordered the bank accounts and properties of the suspected culprits to be freeze and their passport be confiscated . However, it has been learnt now that Shahrukh Jatoi, the prime suspect had fled the country on December 27, 2012 right after two days the incident happened.
The passport obtained by the local TV channel has shown up that Shahrukh had entered the limits of United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday. The accused passport bears the number B5694996.
After the brutal murder, the police officials searched for the culprits but they got escaped. The police officials later confirmed that Shahrukh Jatoi had already illegally fled and escaped as revealed by media outlets. Earlier, DIG South Shahid Hayat while briefing the media about the details of the case had said that contacts are being made to the Australian Commission for his return, however it could not be revealed that to what place he had taken protection. Chief Justice had expressed displeasure over the police authorities less efforts in relation to the thorough investigation of the case. Had the passport been earlier confiscated, the culprit could have not been able to escape.
Shahzeb, 20 year old youngster was shot dead by his friends Shahrukh Jatoi and Nawab Siraj Talpur over the verbal harassment done by the latter’s servant. Shahzeb was murdered near in locality DHA in Karachi on 25 December.
