Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Star and former Captain Shahid Afridi is suffering from fever and abdominal pain but still hoped that he will play the third and last One Day against Sri Lanka tomorrow. He told that he is recovering from illness and will be the part of the team in the big match on Wednesday.
Shahid Afridi did not participate in the team’s practice session on Monday due to illness. National team manager Naveed Akram Cheema confirming the reports regarding Afridi’s illness told that the all rounder is feeling fever and got severe stomach pain while having dinner in Colombo.
Afridi, 32, rested throughout the day on Monday and did not come on the ground to take part in the practice session of the National team, sources informed.
