It is expected that Government of Sindh will announce holiday on April 4 across the province in order to commemorate the 35th death anniversary of the Pakistan Peoples Party founder leader Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
All the preparations have been finalized to observe 35th death anniversary of former Prime Minister and founder of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto at Jinnah Park (Old jail) on Friday (April 4). Member Central Executive Committee, Qazi Sultan Mehmood said that Quran Khawani will be held at 10 a.m. and ‘Dua’ will be offered at 1.pm. Later, Bhutto lungar will also be circulated on the occasion.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that lots of people from all over the country will come to pay tribute their Shaheed leader. Public meeting will be held in late night on April 3 and addressed by Chairman of PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and President and Co-Chairman of PPP Asif Ali Zardari, senior leaders of PPP will also attend the public meeting.
It has pertinent to mention here that the official holiday had also been announced on the death anniversary of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in the year 2011, 2012 and 2013. People on the social media were discussing about the official holiday at 4th April in account of 35th death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was born in 5 January 1928; he founded the PPP in 1967. He executed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in 1979 for authorizing the murder of a political opponent while Bhutto remains a contentious figure in Pakistan’s history, his party, the PPP.
