London: The leading character of the spot fixing scandal Salman Butt is expected to be released from the British prison later this month after which he would be deported to Pakistan, sources informed.

Earlier, Salman Butt requested the authorities for his early release on humanitarian ties which seems to get fulfilled as he would be released and boarded to Pakistan within a month.

It is to mention here that Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir were sentenced 30, 12 and six months imprisonment from the London Court on Spot fixing charges. Mohammad Amir and Asif have been released by the authorities upon completion of the detention period.
