KARACI: Karachi Police Chief Ghulam Qadir Thebo has said that the attack on Ismaili community in Safura was sectarian terrorism. He rejected the role of “RAW” in the attack and said that 4 accused including master mind who were involved in the attack were arrested.
According to details, Ghulam Qadir Thebo has claimed that the Counter Terrorism Department of police has arrested 4 accused being involved in the attack on Ismaili community’s bus in Safura. He added that one of the accused named “Tahir” was the master mind of the attack.
The head of investigation team of Safura bus attack told that the four accused confessed and told the police that there were 11 persons who were involved in not only bus attack of Ismaili community but also they targeted Sabeen Mahmud, many police constables, Bohra community and US professor.
Ghulam Qadir Thebo thinks that all the 11 accused were impressed by Al-Qaida and they all belonged to different nationalities. According to the police chief, four of 11 accused belonged to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4 were from Punjab and remaining 3 were from Karachi.
