Islamabad: The Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Zaka Ashraf claims that the upcoming series between Pakistan and India is the gateway towards the revival of friendship between the two countries. Although, it was the turn of Pakistan to host the series for the neighbour country, the chairman added.
The chairman further said that the series between the two countries is neither for India and nor for Pakistan but it is the revival of promoting friendly relations. Bangalore and Ahmadabad will host the two scheduled T-20 matches. Whereas Chennai and New Delhi will host the three one-day internationals.
According to the reports, Pakistan team will reach Bangalore on 22 December and the first T-20 match will be played on December 25 between both the teams.
A Delegation will be sent to India before the series to ensure the security conditions in the country during the series, the Chairman informed media.
