Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah presided a meeting on the subject of establishment of the Reverse Osmosis (RO) in Liyari and Kemari. In which six desalination plants will be establish in Liyari and 14 desalination plants will be establish in Kemari.
Chief Minister Sindh said that Reverse Osmosis plant is a new and big specialized technology. He also said that the areas of Liyari and Kemari had been faces lots of problem regarding the shortage of water for a very long time.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Israr Malik, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Agha Jan Akhter, Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) Arif Khan, Project director Liyari Abdul Aleem Lashari and Project Director Kemari Gahwar Ali Laghari and other. According to experts, water is a basic need of all human being and due to dirty water a number of diseases can happen in Pakistan.
