Everyone deserves a second chance, as a human being we all do mistake. If a person is guilty and has been served, then it’s our duty to forgive the person after due trial has been given. After suffering punishment Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Amir is now allowed to play international cricket which is a good and bright opportunity for him, just like him; his partners Salman Butt and Muhammad Asif also deserve a second chance to join international cricket.
On February 5, 2011 an anti corruption squad of international cricket council (ICC) bans Muhammad Amir, Salman butt and Muhammad Asif for spot fixing during the lord test against England in 2010.
Salman butt and Asif; they both deserve a second chance in international cricket. Just like we have forgiven Amir because he is performing well, served punishment and now guilty for what he have done. Just like that if Salman butt and Muhammad Asif served their punishment guilty for what they had done. We can see after 5 years ban they are performing well in domestic cricket. Justice demands to forgive them too and give them another chance to play for country and clean the mess they had done.
As the recent performance in the domestic cricket former test captain Salman but secure a ton in the first match along with Asif two wickets which shows there good physical conditions even after the five years ban on.
Pakistan’s national cricket couch Waqar Younis is also supporting Asif and Salman comeback to international cricket as he is satisfied with their performance he demand equality for all of them and just like Amir they all deserve a second chance. According to him it could be good for Pakistan cricket also because of their cricket abilities.
According to Afridi; Salman and Asif do not deserve second chance as Amir because they had lied for three years and criticized Pakistani team during their ban. So what I understand is according to Shahid Khan Afridi, telling lie is biggest mistake then spot fixing? As he is supporting Amir and opposing Salman and Asif after they all done the same mistake and secondly the motive behind that criticism was for improvement in performance like a suggestion according to freedom of speech he have the rights to criticize.
Former West Indies player Marlon Samuels return to international cricket after serving ban for two years because of match fixing.
