Karachi: spokes person for Rangers Sindh has announced that a helpline has been established for the citizens of Karachi, where they can report if anyone tries to forcefully take fitra from them. According to the spokes person, the D.G Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar met with the delegation of the Islamic scholars of Karachi to discuss the situation of Karachi.
In the meeting, a briefing was given to the delegation specifying the reduced rate of target killings and various other crimes in Karachi. The delegation expressed their appreciation as well on the efforts of the rangers and they also expressed their satisfaction upon the current situation in Karachi.

The D. G rangers also specified during the meeting that the rangers will coordinate with the police during the Holy month of Ramazan to give the best security arrangements for the citizens of Karachi, while the Ulema should also stay united during this time period. The spokesperson urged that the citizens should immediately inform the rangers at 1101 in case of forceful extraction of fitra from them.
