ISLAMABAD: The security forces of Pakistan have arrested an agent of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) from the capital of Baluchistan, Quetta who was planning to sabotage on the occasion of Defense Day of Pakistan. A huge amount of explosive material has been recovered.
A communiqué issued from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), an alleged terrorist has been arrested after a tip-off whereas an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), 6 KG of the explosive material and nut bolts have been recovered in the action.
According to ISPR, the security forces also defused some remote controlled explosive material during operation that was already installed to damage the forces. The terrorist has confessed to have connection with Indian “RAW” in the initial investigations.
The identity of the terrorist has not been mentioned yet. The terrorist also admitted that he had installed explosive material twice in Quetta in past that killed many innocent people. It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan’s Defense Day is on September 6.
Special events have been arranged for this Defense Day after completion of 50 years of the War 1965, September 6. Tribute will be paid to the martyred of the war whereas there will be a minute’s silence in the morning on this occasion.
