LONDON: The Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has once again dismissed the highest decision-making body “Rabita Committee”. It is pertinent to mention here that this is the fourth time that Rabita Committee has been dismissed.
Nineteen member of MQM’s Rabita Committee were dismissed in July last year but all were restored after one day. Secondly, the committee was dismissed in December 2014 whereas Qamar Mansoor and Arshad Hussain were appointed as in-charges of Rabita Committee Karachi and London respectively.
Altaf Hussain said in his address in December that the pride of Rabita Committee should be broken as some of the committee’s members had sold grounds and streets. Then, changes were made in Rabita Committee after three months in February 2015.
Qamar Mansoor and Arshad Hussain were dismissed whereas Kaif-ul-Wara and Mustafa Azizi were appointed as in-charges of Rabita Committee of Karachi and London respectively. Now, it is the fourth time that the committee was dismissed again.
