Karachi: Sindh government has announced public holiday on Wednesday (4th April) in account of Pakistan Peoples Party Founding leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s 33rd Death Anniversary. The schools, colleges, and other educational institutions as well as both government and private offices will also remain closed to observe the anniversary.
Earlier, Awami Web reported the news that a day off is expected on Bhutto’s death anniversary. It is worth mentioning here that because of the unrest and unexpected holidays in the city, the people had suffered from a huge economic loss and they will not like further more useless holidays. Educational activities have also been affected because of the violent situation in the metropolis.

Take any political party in Pakistan; be it PPP, MQM, ANP, or any other one, when ANY leader belonging to one of them addresses to the Nation, they almost surely say something like, “We are all Pakistanis without discrimination”. Why do we, then, fail to admit that Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was a highly competent leader and politician? In respect of his services to the Nation, I welcome this decision of the current government. [NOTE: Please remember, Mr. Bhutto was not an ordinary leader.]

@S.A.Rafay, OK! So in your view, calling a day off on his anniversary for his services and contributions to the country is enough? this is the worth of A National leader?
S.A.Rafay
@Hassam Ahmed, How many days are off on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, Anniversary of Imam Hussain, Independence Day etc.? Is that worth it?
Hassam Ahmed
@S.A.Rafay, Bro, this is not a justification at all!
I am not even in favor of holidays for days u have mentioned above. Calling a day off on the death or birth of any leader or personality is becoming a tradition in Pakistan, which is indeed thoughtless.

What about Federal Government ?? (Karachi)
Hassam Ahmed
@syko, No confirm news about tomorrow holiday from the federal government.
As per the latest news, only Sindh and Balochistan government have announced public holiday on 4th April.

@Hassam Ahmed, More holidays, more rest, more positive thoughts, more constructive activity, better Pakistan. I “KNOW” you will disagree…
Hassam Ahmed
@S.A.Rafay, haha Ok then for a better Pakistan we should ask holiday for the whole year .. “More holidays, more rest, more positive thoughts, more constructive activity” << True That 😀
