ISLAMABAD: The Federal Interior Minister Mr Chauhadry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has not asked permission for its long march on 14th of August, 2014, if their request be received in this regard, PTI can be allowed to hold a long march in limit after counselling.
According to details, while talking to media persons, Chauhadry Nisar Ali Khan said that no request of holding a long march from PTI had been received yet. He added if Tehreek-e-Insaf requested in this regard, PTI could be allowed to hold a long march after consulting the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif but the permission would be limited and conditional.
On the other hand, the federal interior minister said that the security of Islamabad had been approved to hand over to Army in accordance with article 245 whereas the Army would be deployed in Islamabad from 1st of August 2014. He added that the army would stay in Islamabad for 3 months.
It is pertinent to mention here that the chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Mr Imran Khan yesterday vowed to hold a long march on 14th August, saying that the conclusive war would be fought in Islamabad on 14th of August. He added that not only would PTI hold a public meeting there but also it would play a test series.
Imran Khan was talking to the opening ceremony of PTI’s new office in Gulberg, Lahore. He said that his party’s fight was to bring a neutral umpire, unless election system bettered, we would be striving; lakhs of people were not being gathered in Islamabad uselessly. He further said that the sitting government was established on fake mandate; a full team was formed to fix a match in election. He claimed that PTI would present rigging evidence of the election on 14th August.
