Naz Baloch is a symbol of strength for women. She comes from the Baloch community where it is very rare for women to take part in public affairs let alone politics. But Naz Baloch has changed all those views by contesting the elections from Karachi where she was the only woman contestant in her constituency and finished a runner up with 20000 votes.
Naz Baloch is the daughter of Abdullah Baloch who is a high ranking member of the Pakistan Peoples Party but Naz Baloch decided to break the norms and join a party which represented her views and wishes instead of going along with her father.
Naz Baloch holds a bachelors degree in economics from St.Joseph’s College. She admired Benazir Bhutto while growing up but wasn’t a fan of her party. She joined PTI in 2011 and worked her way up from being information secretary of PTI womens wing to become its head. Then she got the post of central vice president through the intra party elections.
