Karachi: Following an unjustified ban on pure Islamic websites and rightly blocking blasphemous and porn websites, Pakistani authorities continues to apply totalitarian theory against the online media as Pakistan Telecommunication Authority now issues a directive to internet service providers to block dozens of websites allegedly propagating propaganda against Malala Yousafzai.
According to details, the access to about 10 URLs in Pakistan that were allegedly involved in spreading misinformation material against Malala Yousafzai has been barred.
The authorities have already blocked more than 20,000 websites for publishing “questionable material”. The leading websites among those websites publishing what the authorities call as ‘propaganda reports’ against Malala include an American Website “American Everyman” who claims it has various blog entries about Malala Yousafzai.
