Lahore: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Monday demand for firm action against those who are responsible for making the anti Islam movie. He also called for an effective legislation at the international level to stop acts which degrade any religion and faith in the world.
While addressing a ceremony at the Governor’s House to hand out compensation cheques among heirs of the factory fire victims, the PM said the sacrilegious movie had not only hurt the feelings of the Muslim world, but also endangered world peace.
He said the Pakistan government had categorically been condemning the sacrilegious movie at all forums in strong words, besides protecting the sanctity and dignity of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
It is to mention here that the Pakistanis belonging to other religions, including Christians, Hindus and Sikhs, have also carried out protests against the blasphemous movie and all Muslim countries had also protested and condemned this blasphemous act.
