New York: Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif Prime met his New Zealander counterpart John Key at the 71st session of the United Nations (UN).
Prime Minister met with John Key at the United Nation and discussed the ways to strengthen trade and investment from both sides. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif specially discussed agricultural bread basked, dairy farming and the investment in the Halal meat sector. He said that Pakistan can learn from New Zealand on that matter.
Prime Minister Sharif while talking about New Zealand’s Nuclear Supply Group (NSG) said that Pakistan because of its policy about non-proliferation and nuclear safety and is a strong and ideal candidate to get inducted in the NSG group.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also applauded New Zealand’s efforts in promoting education in Pakistan by awarding scholarships to Pakistani students and hoped that they program will continue and expand in the future.
During the meet, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also gave importance to make the bilateral relations more strong among the two countries.
