Islamabad: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani here on Wednesday has invited Imam of Khana Kaba (Holiest place for Muslims) to pay a visit to Pakistan. While talking to Saudi Minister of Information and culture Abdul Aziz bin Mohiuddin Khoja, Gilani said that Pakistan and Saudia Arabia have ideal fraternal relations.
During the meeting, the PM through the Saudi Minister asked Imam to visit Pakistan and appeal the Muslims living here to solve the personal differences between them and ask to live with peace and harmony on the basis of Islam. Firdous Aashiq Aawaan was also present in the meeting.
The Premier also stressed the need upon Saudi government to sign the agreement on Independent trade and mutual investment soon. He said that Imam Kaba’s visit and message to Pakistan will prove to be beneficial in ending the sectarian violence erupting in difference parts of the country.
