Masjid Qasim Ali Khan mosque in Peshawar has announced that the 1st Ramazan will be on 1st August (Monday). Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai announced while talking to media person that many evidences of the moon sighting has been received in which a woman has also given evidence therefore the 1st day of holy month Ramazan will be observed on Monday (1st August).
1st Ramazan will also be observed in Tehsil Mirali of North Waziristan, Barakambarkhel, Tehsil Mamoond of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Khyber Paktunkhawa Government has not made any announcement yet.
Meanwhile The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on Monday for the moon-sighting. It is expected that the holy month of Ramazan will start from Tuesday (2nd August) in Pakistan.
