Karachi: Former President Pakistan Pervez Musharraf has said that he would return to Pakistan within a few months and actively participate in the upcoming general elections to rescue the Nation from escalating poor state of life in the country. However, he did not mention an exact date of his return.
While addressing a meeting in London attended by around 700 persons, he said that the current government has brought the nation on the brink of bankruptcy and the situation has gone bad to worse during this tenure.
During his address, few activists of Jamat-e-Islami spoke their heart out and chanted slogans against the former President, crying his heinous crime of becoming an ally of US and allowing them to drone our people. The troublemaker were, however, thrown out by the deployed security personnel.
