Karachi: Parhlo.com organized a Blogger and Twitteratti Meetup in Karachi at Regent Plaza. It was a discussion session where the team of Parhlo.com interacted with the social celebrities and talked about the issues of youth today. The main aim of the event was to introduce the audience to Parhlo.com as a platform for youth to showcase their talent and voice their concerns. Parhlo.com focuses on producing content on topics that are unconventional, thought provoking and promotes positive Pakistan.
The Editor-in-Chief of Parhlo.com, Faiza Zafar, also shared her experience and journey from being an introvert writer to becoming the Editor-in-chief of such a website. She focused on how important it is for the youth to come out of their shells and voice their concerns.
The discussion session revolved around discussion on taboos, stereotypes of our society and the importance of promoting the young talent of Pakistan. The participants were encouraged to discuss things they want to talk about but they can’t because of societal constraints. Parhlo.com attracts audiences from all over the world. The participants were briefed on how they can take maximum advantage of this platform.
This was followed by another interactive session with the audience where they were informed about Parhlo University Campaign. They were also asked to share their opinion on the campaign, how they think it should be executed and its importance in their point of view. The event trended on Twitter with the hashtag #ParhloPakistan.
Bloggers and Twitterattis were also asked to provide their feedback on Parhlo App which is readily available on Playstore. The meet up ended with a refreshment and networking session followed by a photo session of guests with Team Parhlo.
