Karachi: Government of Pakistan has inaugurate the first-ever windmill power project in Jhimpir, Sindh. During addressing with people in Thatta President Asif Ali Zardari also congratulate the Fauji Fertilizer Company and Sindh Government on their success to complete the project which will generate the electricity from wind-power. He also said that this project will very help full to decrees the high unemployment rate in the province of Sindh.
Addressing a public he mentioned that Sindh Government provides all the basic need which required building the energy zone in Thatta. Sindh already produce 50,000MWs of power through solar energy and windmill.
He added that financing for the 50MW power generation project will be arranged before December 31st this year while construction will start in January 2013. On the occasion, Wichterle said that investing in power generation through wind was a great opportunity, and it will create the chances of business for local industries.
