Islamabad: Haroon Tariq, a Pakistani student sets new world record by scoring total 47 As in both O level and A level examinations held by the University of Cambridge International Examinations. Achievement by young talented student from Froebel’s International School (FIS) has earned name to Pakistan.
Haroon in total had appeared for 50 subjects that included all the subjects from science and humanities group. Giving the interview he spoke that appearing for 50 subjects had been difficult since he had to go through foreign languages subjects, Spanish and French. The genius student spent three years studying to achieve his set goals and thus accomplished them.
‘My hard work, dedication and teachers’ guidance have earned me name’, said the achiever. Talking more about his achievement and his academics he said that he plans to pursue graduation either in aeronautical or software engineering; however he has not yet made for the specialization field.
FIB School Principal Shahmina Kamal expressing appreciation and pleasure over the success of FIB student said that I feel honored to be instrumental in shaping a competent youngster for tomorrow’s Pakistan.
The head of the Department of Examination Sahar Pirzada said that she has always guided the students to entrust themselves in shaping down their thoughts and believing themselves. The mental perplex plays important role in achieving success and we are proud to produce students who excel in academics.
In the previous records, Zohaib Asad another Pakistani had scored 28 As in O levels but Haroon has now set the new world record.
